Privacy Policy

1. Local conversion and network requests

Every conversion on JsonToCsvTool runs locally, in your own browser, using JavaScript that executes on your device. When you paste JSON, upload a file, or load data from a URL, that data is processed in your browser's memory only.

The converter does not upload pasted text or local file contents to our server for processing. URL loading is different: your browser requests data from the address you enter, and the source receives that network request. Avoid including confidential tokens or personal information in source URLs. The website also uses traffic measurement described below, so local conversion does not mean the entire page makes no network requests. After the page and scripts load, local text and file conversion do not require URL fetching.

2. Traffic measurement

JsonToCsvTool uses two analytics services to count visits to its pages: Google Analytics 4 (operated by Google) and Cloudflare Web Analytics (operated by Cloudflare, which also hosts this site). Both are present on every page.

These services record aggregate, anonymised traffic data — how many visits a page received, which page a visitor arrived from, which country the request came from, and the browser and device type used. This is used only to see which pages are useful and to keep the site working.

This measurement is not used to identify you. We do not build a profile of individual visitors, we do not sell this data, and we do not try to connect a visit to a person. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless by design. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser; you can block or delete those cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on, and every converter on this site will keep working normally.

The files and data you convert are never part of this measurement. Because every conversion runs inside your browser (see above), the contents of your JSON, CSV, Excel, PDF or XML files are not transmitted, not counted, and not visible to any analytics service.

3. Embedded video

One page on this site embeds a YouTube video (operated by Google). The player is not loaded when the page opens — you see a still image and a play button, and nothing is requested from YouTube until you press it.

When you press play, the video is served from youtube-nocookie.com, Google's privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube then receives your IP address and the page you came from, and may set cookies in your browser. How Google handles that data is described in the Google privacy policy. If you would rather not load it at all, every embedded video also carries a plain link, and the article text and the converter on the page work exactly the same without it.

4. Third-party advertising and affiliate links

JsonToCsvTool may display third-party advertising, and pages on this site may include affiliate links. Where affiliate links appear, their presence will be disclosed on the page that contains them.

Third-party advertisers and ad networks may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure advertisements. Those third parties operate under their own privacy policies, which are outside our control. We recommend reviewing the policies of any advertiser whose content appears on this site.
